Shaw Lodge – Halifax
Shaw Lodge was once the home of John Holdsworth & Co, the world’s leading producer of moquette, a transport seating fabric. St James Securities acquired the complex in 2005 and have ambitious plans to deliver an urban village at this site. Planning permission has been secured for almost 50,000 m² of mixed-use accommodation including houses, apartments, offices, a hotel, a medical centre and ancillary retail and restaurant uses. The complex is grade II* listed and is a wonderful collection of mill buildings.
In the short term we are letting the complex in its existing condition, but always with an eye to the future redevelopment.
There is availability of various types of accommodation at Shaw Lodge ranging from small low cost workshops and industrial space to refurbished offices.
